When closed, the knife is 3.375-inches long. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe blade of the 503 Knife is made of Buck's standard 420HC stainless steel, as this material has both exceptional corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Buck's exclusive Paul Bos heat-treating and testing process maximizes both of these advantages, and makes the blade easy to resharpen when needed.
